Time Flies

Time and Tide waits for no man. Not King Canute and certainly not for me. The past eighteen months have certainly flown by. I have had so much going on, I’ve hardly noticed how fast it went. Since January 1, 2022, my last day as a federal employee I have 1) moved from Covington, GA to Bay Minette, AL 2) lost my Rocket Dog in a stupid turn of events three weeks after moving 3) earned a realtor’s license in March 4) went to work at one hourly job then changed to another after about six weeks in mid-April 5) during this time also kinds/sorta started to work with one dive company in Orange Beach, came to my senses at what a loser proposition that was gonna be 6) went to work with at a long time established dive shop in Gulf Shores in April 7) wrecked my knee in the pool with my last diving student of the summer mid-July 8) got the coof on July 31 with a dose of pneumonia 9)went to Dominican Republic anyway two weeks 10) had a knee replacement in November 11) lost my mother in February 12) had to deal with clearing out the house cuz the woman was a hoarder which is on-going 13) closed my first real estate deal last week of July. Today is August 2.

I’m turning 60 in September. On that day, I am flying to Cozumel Mexico, for a much deserved vacation form all of this. After the past eighteen months, I damn well deserve it.
